Events Officer

Description:

You will organise events for York Community Consulting. This diverse and challenging role involves overseeing the planning, marketing, and execution of events. You will also be responsible for outreach to potential speakers, other York societies, and similar organisations to York Community Consulting from different universities. These events should be both social and also educational for our members and others as past of an outreach strategy

Responsibilities:

• Find sponsors and speakers for the events.
• Work with marketing to produce materials
• Manage the financial aspects of events.
• Manage the booking of the venue and other aspects, such as catering.
• Ensure the events are run smoothly.
